Cold weather months lead to a lot of close family togetherness and this is a good thing. There are other heating choices available online like those tiny porcelain heaters that are okay if one is standing right next to them. How about those small electric heaters? These heaters come in both vented and ventless varieties, obviously if one is considering ventless, it is necessary to have proper air circulation with the building. A vented furnace only requires that a hole be cut in a garage wall, and a small vent will take the air from the unit, directly to the great outdoors. Either option is safe and can keep the work area decently warm for a couple of quarters a day.

Common sense should dictate that a propane wall furnace should be used with care, especially in a workshop area. For example, woodworkers should know that anything with flames needs to be completely off when the wood saw is on and kicking up sawdust. Small people and furry pets should also be restricted from a workshop area for more reasons than just the heater alone.
